Finnish Kennel Foundation

The Finnish Kennel Foundation was founded on 26 November 2017 by the decision of the Council of the Finnish Kennel Club. The Kennel Foundation was registered in the foundation register in February 2018. The purpose of the Kennel Foundation is to
protect and preserve the heritage of the dog hobby and canine culture. The foundation also supports the welfare of dogs and dog keeping in Finnish society.

The Kennel Foundation fulfills its purpose by maintaining the Finnish Canine Museum and library and supplementing its collections. Where possible, the foundation awards grants for research that supports the foundation’s purpose.
